See you there!

Marshal Law brings in the bucks!

I'm happy to report that the fundraiser I hosted last weekend with American Leatherwoman Joan Norry was a resounding success! We brought in over $1300 for the SF Leather Pride Contingent... we sold raffle tickets (i was on my knees A LOT), auctioned off hot hunky leathermen, and had a fun time at the Powerhouse.

Special thanks to our MC, Mark Paladini, our auctioneer Lenny Broburg and all the guys that were auctioned off on dinner dates... and the guys that bought us! Justin Roninger, Lance Holman, Rick Russell and I showed it all off! And thank you Jack Chan for the great dinner date!

Buy Yourself a Man!

This Friday, June 12 is MARSHAL LAW, a fundraiser for the SF Leather Pride Contingent, hosted by Joan Norry, American Leatherwoman and me. In addition to the $5 cover, we will be raising money by auction off dates with sexy leathermen from the community. Among those up for auction will be Rick Russell (Mr. Bolt, Sacramento), Lance Holman (Mr. May 2009, Barechest Calendar) and myself (Mr. SF Leather).

Please stop by the Powerhouse this Friday from 9pm to midnight and help the Leather Pride Contingent raise money for the floats and other expenses relating to SF Pride.

Lazy!

Hey Guys!

So I haven't posted much in the last couple weeks... I've been really busy with work since I got back from IML. And I've been lazy! Doh!

Anyhow, there are a few exciting developments I'll write about in the coming days so stay tuned.

My IML Speech

“We’re looking for a few good men”…

That’s what was on the poster when I joined the Army.
But it was during basic training when I realized …
I too, was looking for a few good men!

It's kind of ironic that I had my first sexual experiences
while serving in the institution that
hunted down and expelled men who have sex with men.

I joined the Army on an ROTC scholarship,
was first in my class,
and served as a combat medic.

But it was my open support for gay rights
that kept me from being mobilized,
and rumors that I MIGHT be gay,
that caused an investigation into my private life.

Since implementing “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell”,
over 12,000 Gays and Lesbians have been discharged,
making it the only law in the U.S. that mandates firing
based on sexual orientation.

I think it's time the U.S. Military
should undergo its' own regime change,
or they should change
their recruitment posters to read:
“We’re looking for a few good STRAIGHT men”!

IT'S TIME we advocate
for Gay and Lesbians in our Military,
as well as queer veterans of the armed forces.

IT'S TIME they lift the ban
and change the rules….
NOT the poster.

Regardless if you support the military or not:
IT'S TIME our military finally delivers
Liberty and Justice...For All.

United.

I hate United. I hate United. I hate United. I hate United. I hate United. I hate United. I hate United. I hate United. I hate United. I hate United. I hate United. I hate United. I hate United.

Delayed.

My flight is delayed and won't be home tonight until almost midnight. Unfortunately, I'm going to miss the Court Ruling protest tonight at 5pm. SF City Hall, Van Ness and Grove. Bring baseball bats, fire and anger.
All checked out.. Saying goodbye to new friends from around the world.. And heading out to get something to eat! Flight isn't for five more hours yet.

I'm at the Black n Blue Ball and I'm having an AMAZING time. I LOVE Mindy... She is fantastic.
Getting some rest then going to Black n Blue tonight.
I just picked up my contestant scores from the contest... I came in 5th.
Today I get to make it out of the hotel and explore the city... Then head tithe Leather Mart for some last minute deals.
